LANCache Manager is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0).

In plain terms:

  • Self-host it, modify it, use it however you like for yourself, your LAN, your business, or your gaming cafe.
  • If you run a modified version for other people (including as a hosted service), you must offer those users the corresponding source code of your modified version, under the same license and with the original copyright intact.
  • This prevents a modified hosted version from withholding that modified program's corresponding source from its users, so the project can't be turned into a closed, proprietary reskin.

Versions up to and including 1.10.3 were released under the MIT License and stay MIT. The project name and logo are covered separately by the Trademark Policy. Contributions are accepted under these terms.
